Outspell is a word building puzzle game inspired by Scribble. You play against the computer trying to outsmart it by placing up to six random letters available to you at all times onto a square board. Every word expect for the very first one should be connected to another in a crossword-like fashion.
Winning an Outspell game is comes down to your ability to plan ahead, vocabulary knowledge and just a little bit of luck. Ultimately your goal is to score more points than your opponent. Every letter has its value marked at the bottom and you can use the score modifiers on the board to your advantage: placing a character onto x2 and x3 squares will multiply the points by 2 or 3 respectively.
If you want to succeed in Outspell play your hand strategically: instead of coming up with simple 3-letter words try to maximize the number of characters you use in one go and occupy as many modifier cells as possible. You can also add letters to the existing words to make longer submissions so even your opponent’s moves can be beneficial to you in the long run.
The creators generously made Outspell free to play so if you have a few minutes to spare make sure you check it out. Even if you don’t feel comfortable downloading and installing programs on your device you can just as easily enjoy Outspell online on Kevin Games. Have fun!
