Bloble.io is a multiplayer real time strategy game where players try to build secure bases, defend their perimeters and send their troops outside the walls to try and conquer their rivals. The visuals are intentionally primitive, or rather abstract: the base is simply a circular outline that establishes the area where buildings can be constructed, the structures themselves look like a variety of basic geometrical shapes and the soldiers are groups of triangles running around the map. Despite this simplicity, the game is actually very complex and rewarding once you get the hang of the mechanics.
Several people can play Bloble io online on the same map. They compete against each other by trying to build impenetrable defenses and eventually create enough units to attack other players. The units themselves can be controlled by holding the left mouse button to select a group and then clicking the right mouse button to direct it to a certain position.
Thanks to its unique mechanics the gameplay can be very exciting and unpredictable: given the amount of possible building combinations and play styles one can never foresee how things will turn out in any given Bloble.io game – and that’s what makes it so much fun.
