Fireboy and Watergirl 5 Elements is a puzzle game with platforming elements set in a fantasy universe. Two protagonists who represent fire and water need to go through series of trials in ancient temples, each dedicated to a natural element. There are several levels in each trial filled with dangers, obstacles and mind-bending puzzles. The player must control the characters and use their abilities to reach the end of each level and collect bonuses along the way.

In this installment of Fireboy and Watergirl 5 forces of nature are at play, but as you may have noticed the heroes themselves are part of the game’s mechanics: fire gets extinguished by water and water evaporates when exposed to extreme temperatures. The characters need to cooperate in order to solve puzzles and reach the end of the level: sometimes Watergirl needs to take the lead and protect Fireboy from her element, other times the roles get reversed.
