Galactic Attack is a side-scrolling shooter set in outer space. Play as a pilot of a small star ship equipped with a variety of weapons and power-ups. Shoot and destroy hostile aliens while doing your best to avoid their attacks. You are the galaxy’s only hope – can you become the hero the world needs?
The game starts you off with a basic cannon but occasionally you will stumble upon bonuses – more powerful weapons and defense systems that can be activated at any point as long as the appropriate icon is visible on the dashboard at the bottom of the screen. You can avoid enemy fire either by moving around or by attacking the projectiles coming toward you – if you aim well enough they will be destroyed before reaching you.
Since Galactic Attack was designed with both mobile and desktop devices in mind you can control the ship by swiping or by pressing the arrow keys on your keyboard. Use Space to shoot and X to activate the currently highlighted power up. If you chose the desktop version of the game you won’t have to download and install it – there is a fully functional browser version available online.
