Packets, Please! is a simulator of a simple employee of a generic Internet service provider who is in charge of the customers web traffic throttling in the world without net neutrality.
This distopian game takes place in the near future when the ISPs can do whatever they want and charge people based on what sites they are using while being biased towards providing wider speed lanes to the more popular websites.
At its core this is a simple manager game with a sense of humor where you are supposed to review customer stats and decide whether to throttle or boost their speed, or even disconnect them from the Internet completely. The clients are represented by various animals, and the main protagonist is a fox.
Despite its humorous presentation, Packets, Please! draws a rather grim picture of the world that might soon become a reality.
